Technology Class

What will students learn?
CUSD uses both Google and Microsoft applications with students to help them learn the foundational skills in both platforms.
CUSD uses Learning.com - this program empowers students with digital literacy, problem-solving, and programming skills through a comprehensive program.
Students will also be learning coding skills and using a variety of tools. Some of the programs may be code.org, Scratch & Scratch Jr., Make Code, and other block coding applications. Tools we program may be Dash and Dots, Ozobots, Spheros, and Micro:bits.
We have multiple 3F printers and a Glowforge printer, so students will use Tinkercad to create and print their designs.
They will also learn about and work with:
- Makey Makeys
- Green Screen & Editing Software
- Digital Citizenship
- Painting and Drawing programs
- Multimedia presentation tools
- Spreadsheets and file management
At WGA, we are preparing creative and critical thinkers who enjoy learning and can use technology in a variety of ways, due to the collaborative tools used in our school.
